My latest song, “Your Eyes,” is now available! It features the talents of Glenn Asch (viola), Kirsten Jermé (cello), Marie ‘Bee’ Kuzniar (violin), and Jeremy Kuzniar (drum kit). It’s been a long time coming, and I’m very, very happy to release this into the wild.
De La Buena’s La Tortuga
De La Buena just released La Tortuga, an album that was several years in the making. I play guitar on two tracks: Sambaji and Imbe, and provide vocals on other songs. Give it a listen at CDBaby!
Urban Empress and The UrbanItes
I just finished production work on the debut CD by roots reggae band Urban Empress and The UrbanItes. On The Wings of Jah is hot off the press and available for a listen at CDBaby. The CD release is Feb 26th, 2011, at Milwaukee’s Club Garibaldi.
More Studio Work
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra violinist Glenn Asch recorded some viola tracks for “Your Eyes.” I’m very excited by the prospect of being able to share this song soon. It’s just got a few finishing touches, and will be released as a radio-friendly single before the end of the year. The album version will be longer, with surprises not featured in the radio edit.
About The Creative Process
My friend Steve over at Cosmogalactic just wrote about the conversation we had the other day, during which we discussed my new release, recording gear, and more. I’m impressed that he has challenged himself to produce a song a week. Check in with him on October 23rd to hear his results.
